Job Role :

●         Team Leadership & Management: Lead and manage a team of designers and estimators, ensuring high-quality design outputs and timely, accurate estimates for fire and safety engineering projects.

●         Design Management: Oversee the design of fire protection systems, including fire alarms, suppression systems, and safety equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

●         Estimation & Costing: Supervise the preparation of accurate project cost estimates, considering all aspects of procurement, installation, and commissioning.

●         Collaboration with Sales and Project Teams: Work closely with the sales and project management teams to ensure designs are aligned with client expectations and project timelines.

●         Technical Expertise: Provide technical support and guidance to team members, ensuring best practices in design, estimation, and compliance with fire safety regulations.

●         Project Scope & Budget Management: Evaluate project scope, manage estimation tasks, and ensure designs are delivered within budget and on schedule.

●         Quality Control: Review and approve design and estimation work produced by team members, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and quality.

●         Documentation & Reporting: Maintain proper documentation of design and estimation activities, preparing reports for management and clients as needed.

●         Continuous Improvement: Keep up-to-date with the latest fire safety technologies, regulations, and industry best practices to continuously improve the team’s capabilities.

Requirements :

●         Mech / Elec Engineer with an experience of 2 – 4 years working on MEP projects as a Design Engineer.

●         Knowledge of Advance Excel skills is a must & Project Management knowledge would be an added advantage.

●         Knowledge of tools (Auto CAD, revit ??)

●         Ability to manage a Team of Designer and estimation executives

●         Excellent verbal and written communication skills & convincing abilities.

●         In-depth knowledge of fire protection systems (Hydrant, Sprinkler, Drencher, Pump Room, Fire Alarm, etc.) ??

●         Strong understanding of fire safety codes, NBC, IS standards, NFPA, and local fire regulations??
