Position: Production Engineer

Location: BGTA Ganga, Wadala Truck Terminal, Mumbai

Reporting To: Directors

Role Overview The production engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring production processes to ensure efficient manufacturing and timely delivery of projects. The role involves working closely with the designing, sales, and production teams to convert design concepts into manufacturable outputs while maintaining quality, efficiency, and production timelines.

• Key Responsibilities 1. Production Planning & Execution: Plan and coordinate production activities based on project requirements and timelines.
• Ensure proper implementation of designs into production processes.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Identify and resolve technical or process-related issues during production.
• 2. Coordination with Design & Sales Teams Work closely with the designing team to understand drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with the sales team to align production schedules with project commitments.
• Ensure smooth communication between departments to avoid delays or errors.
• 3. Vendor & Material Coordination Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for materials, components, and production-related requirements.
• Track material availability and ensure timely procurement for production needs.
• Follow up with vendors for delivery timelines and technical clarifications.
• 4. Quality & Process Improvement Ensure production processes meet required quality standards.
• Monitor production efficiency and suggest improvements to optimize processes.
• Maintain proper documentation related to production activities and technical specifications.
• 5. Reporting & Documentation Maintain daily production reports and activity updates.
• Track project progress and report status to the directors.
• Document technical issues, solutions, and process improvements.
• Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Industrial Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or engineering roles.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
• Good coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic production tracking tools.
