Quality Inspector

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials, components, and finished electrical switches as per quality standards.
• Conduct in-process inspections during various stages of manufacturing (moulding, assembly, wiring, finishing).
• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional checks on switches, sockets, and accessories.
• Ensure products comply with IS standards, safety guidelines, and internal quality norms.
• Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities; report issues to the production and quality team.
• Maintain quality inspection records, checklists, and rejection reports.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Coordinate with production to reduce rework, rejection, and wastage.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of approved and rejected materials.
• Assist during internal audits, customer inspections, and third-party quality audits.
• Follow workplace safety, 5S, and quality procedures at all times.
