Job Title: React Software Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality, reusable, and scalable code using TypeScript, React.js and similar UI frameworks.
• Design and develop responsive web applications with a focus on user experience and cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with product owners, business managers and other developers to understand user requirements and develop high-quality software solutions with intuitive visually appealing interfaces.
• Optimize application performance and implement best practices.
• Integrate with backend services.
• Conduct code reviews, collaborate with team members mentor junior developers.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development.
• Strong Communication Skills.
• Create and maintain documentation on architecture, processes, data flows, and data dictionary.
• Assist with development and perform support test and deployment of new features.

Required Competencies

• 6+ years experience in a frontend engineering role.
• 6+ years Experience in a JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS, Vue.Js, Angular, etc., with a focus on React.js
• 6+ Experience with TypeScript
• 6+ years Experience in consuming backend microservices.
• 4+ years Experience with UI libraries such as Material UI, RHF, Zod etc.
• Good code craftsmanship and software design skills.
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• A strong interest in best practice ways of working such as Design patterns, DevOps, TDD, Trunk-based Development, CI/CD and XP, performance optimization, and state management.
• Experience in unit testing.
• Excellent communication skills.
• An understanding of agile development practices.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and web security.
• Good Git version control skills

Additional nice to haves:

• Experience in deploying web applications, databases or other backend services.
• Experience in developing/maintaining applications in an AWS or other cloud environment.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Knowledge of using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
