Job Description

We are a dynamic staffing company dedicated to delivering exceptional talent solutions to our clients. We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Head of Recruitment to lead and scale our recruitment function, drive candidate quality and throughput, and build a high-performance team. The ideal candidate combines executive leadership with hands-on expertise in end-to-end recruitment, candidate experience, and process optimization within a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall recruitment strategy aligned with business goals, market trends, and client needs.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow the recruitment team across multiple disciplines and regions; establish clear KPIs, performance expectations, and career development plans.
  • Partner with sales, operations, and client services to translate client requirements into effective sourcing and selection processes.
  • Optimize end-to-end recruitment lifecycle: workforce planning, job design, sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessment, offer management, and onboarding.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high-quality candidates; implement proactive sourcing strategies (e.g., talent communities, employer branding, referrals, campus partnerships).
  • Introduce and manage modern recruitment technologies and analytics: ATS, CRM, recruitment marketing platforms, and reporting dashboards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and best practices; uphold diverse and inclusive hiring standards.
  • Lead employer branding initiatives to attract top talent and improve candidate experience.
  • Manage vendor relationships (e.g., recruiting agencies, background check providers) and cost per hire.
  • Monitor and optimize recruiter performance, interview-to-offer ratios, time-to-fill, and quality of hire; implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and manage the recruitment budget; forecast hiring needs and resource allocation.
  • Represent the company at industry events, career fairs, and client meetings as a strategic advisor on talent acquisition.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
  • 8–12+ years of progressive recruitment experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role within staffing, professional services, or a high-volume recruiting environment.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling recruitment functions, building teams, and delivering measurable improvements in time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire.
  • Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems (e.g., [ATS name]), recruitment CRM, sourcing tools, and HR analytics.
  • Excellent leadership and people-management skills; ability to influence at all levels and build trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of employment law, compliance, diversity and inclusion, and ethical recruitment practices.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate metrics into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Previous experience in staffing or MSP/VMS environments is a plus.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives
  • Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, retirement plan)
  • Flexible work arrangement (remote/hybrid options)
  • Collegial, fast-paced work culture with opportunities for career advancement
  • Investment in learning and professional development

Key Metrics to Track

  • Time-to-fill, candidate quality, offer acceptance rate, and early turnover
  • Cost per hire and recruiter productivity
  • Fill rate by job family and client
  • Candidate experience scores and employer brand perception
