Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of 5 International Sales Executives.
  • Set monthly and quarterly sales targets for each executive.
  • Monitor daily lead generation and follow-up activities.
  • Review quotations before submission for pricing accuracy and margin control.
  • Conduct weekly sales review meetings.
  • Train team on product knowledge, OEM references, and negotiation skills.
  • Ensure proper usage of ERP system for order booking and tracking.

International Business Growth Strategy

  • Develop country-wise export strategy and market penetration plans.
  • Identify high-potential regions for distributor appointment.
  • Approve and negotiate major distributor agreements.
  • Drive new customer acquisition and support team in closing large accounts.
  • Expand SKU penetration in existing markets.

 

Pricing Strategy & Margin Control

  • Oversee export pricing structure.
  • Monitor competitor pricing trends in global markets.
  • Ensure healthy gross margins on export sales.
  • Work closely with product pricing team to update price lists.
  • Approve special pricing and discount structures

Key Account & Distributor Management

  • Handle key global accounts and strategic customers.
  • Strengthen long-term relationships with top distributors.
  • Resolve escalations related to pricing, delivery, or quality.
  • Monitor repeat orders and customer satisfaction levels.

 

Market Intelligence & Product Planning

  • Analyze export data (including tools like Volza) for market trends.
  • Identify new product opportunities based on demand patterns.
  • Suggest new SKU additions aligned with target markets.
  • Study competitor brands and positioning in focus countries.

 

Sales Operations & Coordination

  • Ensure smooth coordination between sales, warehouse, and logistics.
  • Monitor order processing, dispatch timelines, and back orders.
  • Oversee documentation accuracy (Commercial Invoice, Packing List).
  • Ensure receivables are monitored and controlled.

 

Required Qualifications

  • 6–10 years of experience in international sales of automobile spare parts.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of team handling experience.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive components and OEM references.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong mathematical aptitude.
  • Strong understanding of international trade terms (FOB, CIF, EXW).

Experience managing multi-country export markets.
