Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Sales & Business Development: • Identify and approach new potential customers in the manufacturing, fabrication, and machinery sectors. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, workshops, distributors, and industrial buyers. • Regularly visit clients’ sites to understand their spare part requirements and provide appropriate solutions. • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. 2. Product Knowledge & Consultation: • Understand the specifications and applications of stainless-steel metal spare parts (e.g., flanges, fittings, fasteners, valves, sheets, rods, etc.). • Provide technical advice to clients regarding material selection, grades, compatibility, and applications. • Keep updated with market trends and competitor products to better position offerings. 3. Quotation & Order Management: • Prepare and submit quotations as per customer inquiries. • Negotiate prices and payment terms within the approved guidelines. • Follow up on quotations to convert leads into confirmed orders. • Coordinate with the logistics/supply team to ensure timely delivery and fulfilment. 4. Reporting & Documentation: • Maintain accurate records of customer visits, sales calls, leads, and order status. • Submit daily/weekly reports to the Sales Manager. • Track customer feedback and relay product improvement suggestions to management. 5. After-Sales Support: • Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving product or delivery issues. • Collect payments and coordinate with the accounts team for any pending dues. • Conduct post-sale follow-ups to maintain long-term customer relationships.
