Job Summary:

A Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of premises, property, and people. The role involves monitoring, patrolling, and responding to any suspicious activity, emergencies, or security breaches.

Key Responsibilities:

   Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons.

   Patrol assigned areas regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence.

   Respond to alarms or incidents and investigate disturbances.

   Check and secure doors, windows, and gates.

   Report any suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or unusual activities.

   Maintain daily logs, reports, and records of any incidents.

   Enforce rules, regulations, and company policies.

   Assist in emergencies such as fire, evacuation, or medical situations.

   Operate surveillance systems (CCTV) if required.

   Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

   High school diploma or equivalent.

   Proven experience as a security guard or similar position (preferred).

   Valid security license or certification (as per local regulations).

   Physical fitness and the ability to stand or patrol for long hours.

   Good observational and problem-solving skills.

   Ability to stay calm and act quickly in emergencies.

   Basic knowledge of first aid and fire safety is an advantage.
