Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Shopify Developer to support and enhance an existing ecommerce Shopify store. The role involves ongoing development, automation, API integrations, and product pricing updates based on live gold market data.

This is not a basic theme customization role — we need someone comfortable working with Shopify backend logic, APIs, dynamic pricing calculations, and automation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve an existing Shopify ecommerce website

• Work with complex product structures including variants and pricing rules

• Implement dynamic pricing updates based on gold price data fetched via API

• Develop automation scripts to:

1. Fetch gold price data daily from external APIs

2. Calculate product pricing based on business logic

3. Automatically update Shopify product prices

• Handle multi-currency pricing and updates

• Integrate and optimize 360° product video viewing experiences

• Optimize performance and ensure smooth frontend user experience

• Troubleshoot bugs and implement improvements

• Work closely with business requirements and ongoing updates

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Shopify development

• Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript

• Shopify Admin API / Storefront API

• Experience with API integrations (REST/JSON)

• Experience building automated workflows or scripts

• Understanding of ecommerce pricing logic and product variants

• Ability to work with dynamic data and automation tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Shopify apps and custom app development

• Experience working with external pricing feeds or financial data APIs

• Knowledge of currency conversion and multi-currency Shopify setups

• Experience integrating advanced media (360° product videos)
