Job Profile: Sr. Manager (Third Party Logistics and Warehousing)

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Development & Growth
• Lead the company’s venture into Warehousing and 3PL business.
• Generate new business leads from existing cargo and transport customers.
• Identify, engage, and convert online leads into business opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver tailored proposals to prospective clients.
• Provide market insights and strategic recommendations for expansion.
• Operations & Vendor Management
• Oversee end-to-end warehousing activities and ensure operational efficiency.
• Identify, negotiate, and onboard warehouse vendors to increase storage capacity.
• Monitor warehouse utilization, efficiency, and cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and quality standards.
• Team Leadership & Management
• Lead and motivate a team to achieve business and operational goals.
• Build team capabilities through mentoring, training, and effective delegation.
• Strategic Support & Reporting
• Provide periodic feedback and reports to the Director on business performance, market opportunities, and expansion strategies.
• Support management in designing new service offerings and operational models.
• Take up additional responsibilities as delegated by the Director.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in 3PL, logistics, and warehousing operations.
• Proven track record in business development and client acquisition.
• Excellent vendor management, negotiation, and networking skills.
• Effective leadership, team management, and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP/WMS systems preferred.
• Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Minimum relevant experience of 8-10 years

Location

• Andheri (Primary) with travel as required.
