Telecaller

We are seeking enthusiastic and persuasive Telecallers to join our team at Amigo Academy, located in Mumbai. In this role, you will be responsible for making outbound cold calls to potential students, promoting our academy's courses, and convincing them to visit or enroll. This is a key position in our admissions process, ideal for individuals with strong communication skills and a passion for sales and education.

Key Responsibilities

Make high-volume outbound cold calls to leads (students and parents) from provided databases to introduce academy programs and generate interest.

Explain course details, benefits, fees, and admission procedures in a clear and convincing manner.

Handle objections, answer queries, and build rapport to persuade prospects to schedule visits or complete admissions.

Follow up on leads through calls, messages, or emails to nurture them towards enrollment.

Maintain accurate records of calls, conversations, and outcomes in our CRM system.

Achieve daily/weekly targets for calls made, appointments booked, and admissions converted.

Collaborate with the admissions team to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads.

Stay updated on academy offerings, promotions, and competitor information to enhance pitch effectiveness.

Requirements

Previous experience in telecalling, telesales, customer service, or similar roles (preferably in education, coaching, or sales sectors).

Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Hindi (additional regional languages like Marathi are a plus).

Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities with a positive, resilient attitude to handle rejections.

Basic computer skills for using calling software, CRM tools, and MS Office.

Ability to work in a target-driven environment with flexible shifts (including evenings/weekends if needed).

Minimum qualification: 12th Pass or Graduate (any stream).

Prior industry experience: Education/Training, Sales/Marketing, or Call Center (select up to 10 relevant industries on the Apna app).
