About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled WordPress Developer with hands-on experience in custom theme and plugin development, as well as strong PHP programming skills. The ideal candidate should be passionate about building secure, scalable, and high-performance websites tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and customize WordPress themes from scratch or by extending existing ones.

Build, modify, and maintain custom WordPress plugins based on business requirements.

Write clean, well-structured, and efficient PHP code that integrates seamlessly with WordPress.

Implement responsive design using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

Ensure cross-browser compatibility and site optimization for speed and performance.

Conduct debugging and testing of websites and plugins.

Collaborate with UI/UX designers, project managers, and QA teams to deliver projects on time.

Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in WordPress development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in WordPress theme and plugin development.

Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (jQuery).

Strong understanding of WordPress core architecture, hooks, and filters.

Experience with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), WPBakery, Elementor, or other builders.

Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Understanding of REST APIs, AJAX, and JSON integration.

Experience with performance optimization and security best practices.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve website issues quickly.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus):

Knowledge of WooCommerce, Multisite, and multilingual setups.

Experience working with CI/CD pipelines for WordPress.

Familiarity with tools like Figma and Zeplin for design hand-offs.

Contribution to the WordPress community or plugin/theme repositories.
