AGM Commercial
Responsibilities
- Formulating the right contracting strategies for establishing the facilities for developing Company Block MB-OSN-2005/2 with contract terms and conditions ensuring minimum risk for Company and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures
- Strategic relationship with Contractor to Manage and administer the full life cycle of awarded Contracts.
- Market intelligence on availability of Yards for fabrication, vendor base Barges/HLV for T&I, Long lead items like Cranes, Bulk items, E&I , Valves, Pipes and Structural steel etc.
- Conduct the Tendering process for Surface facility requirement to provide the right quality material/services at right time, at right price, at right place complying to all policy and process.
- Draft complex legally binding tender and contracts related to Surface facility. Good understanding of major fabricators within India, Indonesia, China, Vietnam etc
- Exercise good judgment in selecting best contracting methods, techniques, and commercial evaluation criteria for obtaining desired outcome.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in Surface facility procurement and contracting.
- Examine, evaluate and participate in developing and negotiating contracts, and provide technical advice and guidance to minimize risk, ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies, and realize operational effectiveness and efficiency in these functional areas
- Own the procurement process and support various procurement functions such as strategic sourcing, subcontracting, vendor management, and drafting of prequalification criteria, tenders, Terms and conditions, evaluation criteria, central repository of tender related documents.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external clients, stakeholders and management
- Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
- Perform risk management for legal and commercial risks for surface facility contracts.
- Introduce TCO concept in Pricing and evaluation to control total spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
14. Responsible for the project contract management, variation orders, potential claims, payments etc. Communication with the Bidders /DGH/partner / internal Stakeholders in terms of contractual matters
15. Shall have hands on working experience for tendering process.
Qualifications
- BE or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management or related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 12-15 years professional contract/procurement experience industry including, but not limited to, tendering, sourcing, contract negotiation, Contract Management, monitoring and reporting contract performance
- Good knowledge of handling Surface Facility Contracting. Market intelligence on availability of Yards, steel, Pipeline, LLI for Facilities and respective legal terms etc.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to effectively communicate complex information to others both verbally and in writing
- Ability to accurately read, interpret, develop and negotiate terms and conditions of contracts
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills with business acumen to make sound management decisions/recommendations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- In-depth working knowledge of contract drafting, management and change control processes
Knowledge of digital sourcing platforms such as SAP and Ariba is preferred
