Job Purpose

Contracting with Tower Cos – Negotiations, Financial modelling (ROI, payback, NPV, TCO), MSA/addendum/termsheet, Renewals /Extensions

Cost savings - Innovative ideas, Implementing them with support from Network/Circles/SSC, Monitoring of cost savings, Cost saving benchmarking with other operators and replication of best practices

Stakeholder management - Network MSA, Network Operations, Legal, Finance, Shared Service, Strategy

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

Tower Co sourcing -

• Finalizing techno-commercials and executing MSAs with tower companies at Corporate level for pan-India sites rollouts
• Contract management - Monitoring MSAs and addendums and try optimizing them continuously. Resolving various queries from Network, Circles, SSC and Tower Cos etc

Tower Co operations -

• Thorough knowledge of tower cos’ bill validations – Rental & Energy
• Advice with network team on bill validation methodology
• Dispute resolutions – Contractual understanding of each MSA clause, various settlement as required

Cost saving -

• Identifying contractual ways and means to optimize MSA cost
• Driving various operational initiatives so as to optimize Rental cost – site exits, loading reduction, low configuration site etc
• Driving various operational initiatives so as to optimize Energy cost - diesel elimination, solar deployment, battery augmentation, outdoor conversion etc

Must have technical / professional qualifications

• Tower Co contracting (MSA) knowledge - Standard Configuration, Deliverables, SLAs, Penalties, TATs, Commercials, Finance, Legal etc
• Proficient in excel, advance excel, power point, google sheets etc
• Engineering graduate with MBA preferred
