Debt Syndication Analyst

Analyst - Debt Syndication| Mumbai

1. The Analyst will support the debt syndication function by driving risk distribution and deal origination activities. 
2. This role involves end-to-end execution of syndication transactions, preparation of market-facing documentation, and relationship management with lenders, without any team management responsibilities.

1. Assist in setting up and managing the debt syndication desk for risk distribution and deal origination.
2. Provide syndication advisory in consultation with the Business Unit (BU) for structuring and placement strategies.
3. Work closely with BU teams from deal origination through execution and market placement of bank-underwritten exposures.
4. Execute sell-down/syndication transactions in line with regulatory guidelines and ensure timely reporting for market placement.
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with Private Banks, PSU Banks, NBFCs, Funds, and Mutual Funds to facilitate syndication opportunities.
6. Conduct market research and enhance intelligence on potential borrowers and their acceptability across the lending community.
7. Prepare detailed Information Memorandums and financial models for prospective lenders.
8. Develop sectoral insights, particularly in Manufacturing and Infrastructure lending landscapes.
9. Support sell-down transactions and originate-to-sell mandates across Wholesale Banking Segment (WSB) clients with clear accountability for deliverables.
10. Ensure compliance with regulatory norms and internal processes throughout the transaction lifecycle.

CA/MBA from a reputed institute.
