As a Java Android Developer for Rymo, you will get to build and deliver India's first robotic and virtual rehabilitation technology for physical rehabilitation, to the world. Role is critical to ensuring the success of the organisation. You will be responsible for developing and improving the software for international deployments and build systems that enable our technology to deliver the best possible results for patients. Success in this position means that you have the technical skills and experience necessary to build high-quality software that meets the needs of our users and regulatory and privacy requirements for healthcare data. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver software that is functional, reliable, and user-friendly. Your role as a Java Android Developer fits into the organization overall as part of a larger team that is dedicated to making a difference in the healthcare industry. You will work closely with other developers and stakeholders to continuously improve our technology and ensure that our patients receive the best possible care. Core Responsibilities: Collaborating with UI and UX Designers, as well as Software Testers, to ensure that each app is presentable and in perfect working order. Monitoring the performance of live apps then creating app updates, including bug fixes and additional features, for release. Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and design new features. Staying up to date with new mobile technology trends, applications, and protocols Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability Writing clean and efficient codes with comments and documentable for Android applications Implementing measures to safeguard users' data. Required Skills and Competencies: High Proficiency in Java, SQLite, Kotlin, C# Prior experience with Swift, C, C++, MySQL, Mongo DB, Dart will be a bonus Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git Familiarity with various testing tools Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs Working on Bluetooth communication protocol with hardware through Android app. Communication: Listening effectively, transmitting information accurately and understandably and actively seeking feedback non-defensively. Qualification: B.Tech/B. E./Diploma or other equivalent degree preferably in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering.
