Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Python Automation Specialist to join our team, supporting capital markets operations across the EMEA region. This role requires strong technical expertise in automation technologies combined with foundational knowledge of financial markets.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working with cross-functional teams across different time zones
- Strong documentation and knowledge sharing practices
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 6 - 8 years of experience in Python development and Unix automation
- Previous exposure to financial services or capital markets environment
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently during extended hours
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Adaptable to fast-paced, mission-critical environments
- EMEA shift coverage with standard hours extending until 10 PM IST
- Flexibility to work beyond standard shift hours during critical incidents or project deadlines (rare occasions)
- Strong commitment to operational excellence and system reliability


Professional & Technical Skills:
- Expert-level proficiency in Python programming with focus on automation frameworks and scripting
- Experience with automation tools, jira, CI/CD pipelines
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in Unix environments
Domain Knowledge
- Basic understanding of Capital Markets including trading systems, market data, and financial instruments
- Familiarity with financial workflows and regulatory requirements preferred
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to financial technology systems
