As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous collaboration with different teams to maintain system stability and deliver timely solutions that support business continuity and efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Application Development
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications. Build scalable microservices architecture using Java/Spring Boot. Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React. Create data processing pipelines and analytical tools using Python. Implement complex business logic and data models in SQL databases
Technical Implementation
Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external systems. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. Implement unit testing. Optimize application performance and database queries. Ensure application security and compliance with regulatory requirements
DevOps & CI/CD
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar tools. Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management. Participate in deployment activities and release management
Required Technical Skills
Java Development (Primary)
Core Java: Java 8+ (Lambdas, Streams, Functional Programming). Frameworks: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA. Build Tools: Maven, Gradle. Testing: JUnit, Mockito, TestNG. Microservices: RESTful API design, Service orchestration
Frontend Development
React: React 16+, React Hooks, Context API, Redux/Redux Toolkit. JavaScript/TypeScript: ES6+, TypeScript. UI Frameworks: Material-UI, Ant Design, or Bootstrap. Build Tools: Webpack, Vite, npm/yarn. Testing: Jest, React Testing Library
Python Development
Core Python: Python 3.8+. Libraries: Pandas, NumPy (for data analysis), Requests. Frameworks: Flask/FastAPI (for APIs), SQLAlchemy. Automation: Scripting, ETL processes, data processing. Testing: pytest, unittest
Database & SQL
RDBMS: SQL Server, PostgreSQL. SQL Proficiency: Complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, functions. Database Design: Normalization, indexing, performance tuning
DevOps & Infrastructure
CI/CD: GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions. Containerization: Docker, Docker Compose. Orchestration: Kubernetes, OpenShift. IaC: Terraform, Ansible (nice to have). Version Control: Git, GitLab. Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk. Scripting: Bash, PowerShell

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Full Stack Development.
- Strong knowledge of front-end and back-end technologies including Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with application servers, databases, and web services integration.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with version control systems and continuous integration tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information:
