Assistant Manager - Research, Colors Marathi

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Programming Strategy & Insights Manager to support data-driven decision-making, scheduling, and consumer insights for high-impact shows and specials. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, deep understanding of audience behavior, and the ability to translate insights into clear programming and marketing actionable. The ideal candidate will thrive at the intersection of content strategy, scheduling, on-air promotions, and consumer research, ensuring seamless execution and audience-first programming.

What will you do?

  • Analytics & Reporting: Deliver weekly analytical reports including performance snapshots, competitive benchmarking, and review decks. Conduct post-launch analyses of new shows and highlight performance trends. Provide forward-looking inputs for content planning & scheduling. Translate insights into actionable recommendations for programming & marketing.
  • Scheduling & FCT Management: Coordinate with scheduling teams on promo priorities, FPC updates, and adjustments. Track and communicate scheduling changes across teams in real time. Align promo planning with available FCT (SD/HD streams) and escalate gaps. Support optimization of commercial placement with sales & traffic.
  • On-Air Promotions (OAP): Manage weekly promo prioritization and scheduling. Coordinate promo planning for highpoints, specials, and dated promos. Ensure compliance with duration, timelines, and creative guidelines. Maintain alignment with the overall programming strategy
  • Programming Support: Support weekly highpoints, specials, and thematic programming initiatives. Ensure smooth coordination for execution of strategic decisions. Facilitate advance planning for programming strategy calls.
  • Secondary Responsibilities: Agency & Partnership Management – manage research agencies, briefs, and deliverables; explore new agency partnerships. Show Remake Planning – support evaluation & adaptation of remakes with cultural relevance. Sales Coordination – update sales on programming initiatives; support discussions on additional FCT requirements.
  • Consumer Insights: Manage partnerships with research agencies for show feedback & CHV studies. Coordinate consumer visits and capture detailed viewer insights. Undertake deep-dive studies for launches, brand equity, and show performance. Translate consumer feedback into clear programming improvements
