Job Description
Assistant Manager - Safety
Responsibilities
Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks
Collaborate with project teams to address HSE issues and provide guidance on best practices
Lead incident investigations and develop corrective action plans to prevent future occurrences
Provide HSE support and guidance during the planning and execution of project activities
Coordinate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with local and national HSE requirements
Deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors to increase awareness and understanding of safety protocols
Implement and maintain emergency response plans and procedures
Monitor and analyze HSE performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Qualifications
7-11 years of experience in the Projects industry or related field
Demonstrated track record of implementing and managing HSE initiatives
Proven experience in conducting risk assessments and developing safety procedures
Experience in leading HSE training and awareness programs
Strong knowledge of relevant HSE regulations and standards
