Associate Manager - Aerodrome Safeguarding (Airport)

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Perform site surveys, verify coordinates and elevations, and prepare joint inspection reports.
• Identify and document obstacles as per Aircraft Rules 1994 and coordinate with relevant authorities for removal.
• Conduct routine monitoring of Obstacle Limitation Surfaces (OLS) and obstacle lights as per established SOPs.
• Process and maintain records for SACFA, NOC, OC/CC, and Crane/Piling Rig NOC applications.
• Coordinate with local government bodies for the reduction or removal of obstacles around the airport.
• Utilize ArcGIS for obstacle plotting, survey data analysis, chart updates, and layout preparation.
• Maintain updated databases and prepare official communication with stakeholders, AAI, and DGCA.
• Liaise with MCGM and MIAL for pruning/cutting/transplanting of trees

Qualifications

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aviation, GIS, or a related technical field (preferred).

2–6 years of experience in Aviation or Aerodrome Safeguarding roles
