Job Purpose: Executive - Electrical in the Engineering & Maintenance (E&M) function is responsible for executing routine maintenance tasks and ensuring uninterrupted operation of electrical systems in compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role emphasizes on-site execution, troubleshooting, and coordination for maintaining the operational efficiency of airport infrastructure.
Execution of Electrical Maintenance Tasks:
Perform regular maintenance and servicing of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and backup systems.
Conduct inspections and ensure electrical systems operate within prescribed safety and performance standards.
Support the execution of planned and preventive maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to airport operations.
Troubleshooting and Repairs:
Assist the electrical team in identifying and troubleshooting electrical failures during emergencies or system outages.
Perform electrical troubleshooting under supervision and identify faults or areas for improvement in the systems.
Assist in identifying root causes of electrical failures and implementing corrective actions.
Compliance with Safety and Regulatory Standards:
Ensure maintenance activities adhere to local and international aviation safety and electrical codes.
Participate in audits and inspections to validate compliance with regulatory requirements.
Adhere to the maintenance and safety checklists to ensure that all activities are performed within the required safety and environmental guidelines.
Support for Operational Continuity:
Monitor electrical systems to identify potential risks or disruptions, ensuring proactive maintenance.
Coordinate with the Associate role to implement immediate solutions during operational challenges.
Equipment and Material Management:
Maintain accurate records of electrical equipment, tools, and consumables for efficient stock management.
Help in ensuring the proper storage, inspection, and maintenance of tools and materials to ensure their readiness for use in operations.
Prepare routine maintenance reports and escalate critical issues to the Associate for resolution.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Collaborate with internal teams, including HVAC, mechanical, and operations, to ensure seamless maintenance operations.
Liaise with external vendors for repairs or replacement of faulty electrical components.
Energy Efficiency Monitoring:
Monitor energy consumption patterns and suggest improvements to reduce wastage and improve efficiency.
Assist in implementing energy-efficient practices in line with operational requirements.
Record Keeping and Reporting:
Assist in maintaining accurate records of maintenance tasks, electrical inspections, and repairs.
Help prepare reports on system performance, maintenance history, and future maintenance schedules.
Report any significant maintenance issues to the Associate or relevant stakeholders promptly.

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a UGC-recognized institute.
Certification in Electrical Maintenance or Safety Standards (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
Work Experience:
3–5 years of experience in operations and maintenance of electrical systems, preferably in infrastructure or industrial environments.
