Description

Adobe Tagging Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target implementations.
  • Hands-on experience with the latest tagging approaches, including Adobe Web SDK, Event Forwarding, and modern data collection frameworks.
  • Implement Adobe Analytics solutions using Adobe Launch and Adobe Web SDK, ensuring best practices and maintaining data quality and integrity.
  • Configure and deploy tags, triggers, rules, data elements, and XDM mappings to capture and track user interactions across websites and applications.
  • Implement and manage Adobe Target setups, including activity configuration, audience creation, offer setup, QA, and end-to-end validation.
  • Conduct thorough testing, validation, and debugging of Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Web SDK implementations to ensure accurate data collection and personalization delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and establish reporting frameworks aligned with business goals.
  • Work closely with developers, marketers, product teams, and architects to optimize data collection strategies, XDM modeling, and personalization workflows.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for Adobe Analytics, Adobe Web SDK, and Adobe Target implementations, resolving data discrepancies or tracking errors.
  • Stay current with industry trends and Adobe Experience Cloud updates to continually improve implementation processes and methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience implementing 3rd-party marketing pixels such as Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn, Floodlight, etc., via Launch or Web SDK.

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 6–7 years of proven experience in Adobe Analytics implementation using Adobe Launch and related Experience Cloud tools.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for custom code implementation and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with data layer concepts, XDM schemas, and Web SDK best practices for scalable data collection.
  • Experience with tag management systems, preferably Adobe Launch and server-side data collection approaches.
  • Solid understanding of digital analytics, including metrics, dimensions, segmentation, and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or related field (preferred).

 

Preferred Certifications:

  • Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) certifications
  • Adobe Analytics Developer / Architect certifications
