Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose:

Creating the financial backbone of our manufacturing and logistics operations, you will drive high-impact profitability strategies and own the controllership of our supply chain functions. This role offers you the unique opportunity to influence end-to-end Supply Chain Finance, from intricate plant performance metrics to global freight and warehousing efficiencies. Based in our office, you will be the strategic partner senior leadership relies on to navigate complex SAP implementations, Anti-Dumping cases, and cost-saving initiatives that directly fuel our organizational growth.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Own the Financial Roadmap: Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), budgeting, and forecasting processes while providing senior leadership with actionable recommendations based on actual versus plan performance.

  • Drive Cost Excellence: Oversee standard cost rolls, forecasted cost releases, and conduct rigorous variance analysis on materials and direct activity to optimize COGS.

  • Maximize Profitability: Execute detailed product wise margin reporting to identify unusual items and unlock new opportunities for margin improvement.

  • Monitor Operational Efficiency: Track critical plant metrics—including yield, wastage, and capacity utilization—while ensuring the absolute accuracy of inventory valuations and fixed asset records.

  • Strategic Project Support: Provide financial modeling and analysis for new product launches and project setups, while managing high-stakes initiatives like SAP S/4 HANA implementations.

  • Optimize E2E Supply Chain: Oversee freight, warehousing, and logistical costs along with Mfg operations to identify "Fuel-the-Growth" (FTG) opportunities across the entire supply chain stream.

 

Required  Qualifications:

  • Professional Certification: Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant 

  • Technical Expertise: Proven deep expertise in SAP S/4 HANA (FICO/COPA) is essential for this role.

  • Core Finance Experience: 5+ years of experience in manufacturing controllership, standard costing, and inventory valuation.

  • Compliance Knowledge: Demonstrated experience in ensuring SOX compliance and leading cost audit activities.

 

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Industry Experience: Prior experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or large-scale manufacturing sector along with SAP exposure

  • Analytical Leadership: Strong ability to translate complex data sets into monthly MIS and scorecards for top management.

  • Collaborative Mindset: Proven track record of working cross-functionally with plant operations and logistics teams to drive cost-saving
