Job Summary

We are looking for a Draftsman cum Computer Assistant who will support the design and project team through preparation of technical drawings, basic documentation, and day-to-day computer-based tasks. The role requires a disciplined, detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working with drafting software as well as handling routine office and data-related work.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and modify technical drawings using AutoCAD as per design and consultant inputs.

Assist in preparing layout drawings, sections, details, and basic shop drawings.

Maintain and organize drawing files, BOQs, and related project documentation.

Perform basic computer and administrative tasks such as data entry, formatting documents, and maintaining records.

Coordinate with designers, consultants, and internal teams for drawing updates and revisions.

Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of drawings and documents.

Support the team with printing, plotting, and submission-ready documentation when required.

Follow company standards, naming conventions, and drawing protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Diploma or certification in Drafting, Civil / Electrical / Mechanical (or relevant discipline).

Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D is mandatory; basic 3D knowledge is an advantage).

Basic computer skills including MS Excel, Word, and file management.

Ability to understand technical instructions and implement revisions accurately.

Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.

Willingness to learn and adapt to project requirements.

Experience

1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Freshers with strong AutoCAD and computer skills may also be considered.
