Assistant Vice President - Network Security

AVP - Network Security - Information Technology - Mumbai - Lodha (I-Think Techno Campus)

The role requires technical expertise across Networking and Perimeter security, with ownership of problem resolution.

Network Management: 

• Act as L3 escalation for complex network and security incidents across branches, data centres, and cloud connectivity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues related to Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, DdoS, Load balancers
• Well verse with routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, static and dynamic)
• Ensure HA, performance and stability across all network services
• Design and Implement scalable and secure solutions for
  • Branch rollouts and upgrades
  • Data Center and DR environments
  • Cloud connectivity (Direct Connect / ExpressRoute / Site-to-Site VPNs)
  • Hardening documents
• Lead major incidents, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions
• Service Provider & Vendor Governance for
  • ISPs and MPLS/SD-WAN providers
  • OEMs (Firewall, Switching, NAC, Load Balancer, VPN)
  • Managed Service Partners
• Conduct periodic service reviews and performance assessments.
• Drives accountability for:
  • Chronic issues
  • SLA breaches
  • Delays and quality gaps
• Review billing, capacity planning, and commercial optimisation.
• Identify and evaluate new network and security technologies relevant to enterprise and BFSI needs.
• Lead structured POCs:
  • Define scope, success criteria, and risks
  • Validate operational, security, and compliance fit
• Ensure network and perimeter security controls align with
  • RBI and BFSI regulatory guidelines
  • Internal security policies
• Will be the SPOC for Network related audits.
• Partner closely with Information Security, Risk, and Audit teams as a SPOC for all Network security requirements.
• Ensure segregation of duties, change controls, and access governance are enforced.
• Drive and enforce ISO‑aligned change management governance for network and security domains
• Ability to review configs, designs, and logs.
