CAD Engineer

?Prepare detailed CAD drawings, layouts, and 2D models based on design inputs and specifications.

?Ensure drawings and models are accurate, complete, and adhere to project requirements.

?Support BIM Modelers by providing accurate base drawings and CAD data for 3D modelling and BIM workflows.

?Preparation of site plans and drawings.

?Preparation of 3D Surface model (points, lines, text contour etc.) & excavation plan drawings.

?Preparation of plan profile & sample line section for HAC RES (geo.) Lithography STL etc.

?Preparation of excavation quantity, cutting & filling with table & assembly etc.

?Preparation of Detail drawings, tender drawings, structure drawings, & fabrication drawings & miscellaneous Drawings.  

?Staying up to date with the latest drafting technologies and software (such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or BIM) to improve drawing accuracy and productivity, and help the company stay competitive. 

?Preparation of XREF File etc.

?Preparing topographic maps, and detailed drawings for construction.

?Revising drawings as required based on engineers’ or clients’ feedback. 

?Maintaining and organizing records of drawings related to the site design, updates, and modifications.

?Assisting with the preparation of as-built drawings after construction is completed.

?Ensure that all drawings are prepared as per the Quality Management System.

?Ensuring that all drafted site plans, layouts, and infrastructure designs meet or exceed quality and safety standards, which enhances the company’s reputation and leads to client satisfaction. 

?Continuously producing high-quality, detailed site drawings that reinforce the company’s reputation for professionalism, reliability, and technical expertise

?Develop and maintain CAD templates, libraries, and standards for consistent deliverables.

?Work closely with design engineers to understand and incorporate design requirements.

?Coordinate with other CAD engineers to ensure consistency and alignment in deliverables.

?Collaborate with BIM Modelers to align CAD data with 3D modelling tasks and BIM requirements.

?Collaborating with the team to establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for drafting work to ensure consistency and quality across all components of project. 

?Collaborating with colleagues to maintain consistency in drafting standards and project-specific requirements.

?Incorporating feedback from engineers into updated designs, ensuring all technical and structural requirements are properly addressed in the drafts. 

?Work closely with engineers to ensure that site plans, layouts, and other designs align with engineering specifications and project requirements. 

?Ensure alignment with organizational values and drive team engagement toward strategic goals.

?Promoting a culture of knowledge sharing within the drafting team by sharing technical tips, industry trends, and effective drafting techniques

?streamline workflows and enhance productivity.

?Maintain and update project documentation, including CAD files, templates, and libraries.

?Ensure version control and proper file management in the project repository.

?Assist in creating and maintaining standard templates and macros for efficiency.
