Summary: As a Software Configuration Engineer, you will implement the configuration management plan as directed by the Configuration Lead. Your typical day will involve assisting in the design of software configuration and customization to align with business process design and application requirements, ensuring that all configurations meet the specified standards and contribute to the overall project goals. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that the software solutions are effectively tailored to meet the needs of the organization, while also participating in discussions to enhance the configuration processes and methodologies. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest configuration management practices. - Assist in troubleshooting and resolving configuration issues as they arise. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD). - Strong understanding of software configuration management principles. - Experience with business process design and application requirements. - Familiarity with customization techniques in SAP environments. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD). - This position is based at our Mumbai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
