Working as part of a cross functional team, you deliver the RDQ activities required to complete new product development, portfolio maintenance and/or productivity projects with an emphasis on meeting the desired consumer experience.

How you will contribute

With the support and guidance of a manager, you will organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements and development activities (e.g. product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation etc.). You will also write technical reports that will require the analysis and interpretation of results and that lead to conclusions and recommendations and create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to own and drive the technical delivery of our ACE Marketplace platform. This is a global role requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies. You will combine hands-on technical leadership with sprint facilitation, working closely with a team of 4-5 contractors, and partnering with Product Owners to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Own end-to-end technical architecture for ACE Marketplace (React frontend, Node.js backend).
• Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and code review processes.
• Make architectural decisions balancing performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Manage technical debt through systematic identification, prioritization, and remediation.
• Ensure application security following OWASP guidelines and Mondelez security standards.
• Monitor application performance and implement optimizations for optimal user experience

Sprint & Delivery Management 

• Lead daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with Product Owner to break down requirements into technical specifications.
• Estimate effort, identify dependencies, and manage delivery risks.
• Ensure sprint commitments are met with high-quality deliverables.
• Allocate dedicated capacity (15-20%) for technical debt reduction.

Team Coordination 

• Guide and mentor a team of 4-5 contractors on technical implementation.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for knowledge continuity.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and onboarding for new team members.
• Unblock team members and escalate impediments proactively.
• Collaborate with UX/Design teams to implement responsive, accessible interfaces.

Stakeholder Collaboration 

• Partner with React Center of Excellence on standards and shared components.
• Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD pipeline optimization and deployments.
• Communicate technical progress and risks to business stakeholders.
• Participate in architectural reviews and technology evaluation.
• Communicate effectively with global stakeholders across AMEA, Europe, and North America.
• Provide clear written documentation and async updates for distributed team coordination.

Required Qualifications 

• Experience: 3-4 years in Full Stack development with leadership exposure.
• Frontend: Strong proficiency in React.js, Redux/Context API, modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Backend: Solid experience with Node.js, Express.js, RESTful API design.

• Database: Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Agile: Experience leading or actively participating in Scrum ceremonies.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git, branching strategies, PR workflows.
• Performance: Experience with performance monitoring and optimization tools.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders across global teams.
• Global Collaboration: Comfortable working with distributed teams across time zones; flexibility for occasional meetings outside standard hours.

 

Preferred Qualifications 

• AWS or Azure certification 

• Experience with enterprise marketplace or e-commerce platforms 

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) 

• Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) 

• Experience working with distributed/contractor teams
