Summary:
As a Database Administrator, a typical day involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database systems to support organizational needs. This role includes installing database management systems and developing efficient procedures to ensure smooth daily operations. The position requires continuous monitoring and troubleshooting to resolve any issues promptly, ensuring data integrity and availability. Collaboration with various teams to align database solutions with business objectives is also a key aspect of the daily routine, fostering a reliable and optimized data environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices in database management to enhance system performance and security.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to understand database requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAS Platform.
- Strong knowledge of database architecture, design, and implementation principles.
- Experience in installing, configuring, and upgrading database management systems.
- Ability to develop and automate maintenance procedures to ensure database reliability.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving database performance issues.
- Familiarity with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning for databases.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAS Platform.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
