Deputy General Manager - Assets Management

Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities 1. Asset Management & Operational Oversight
  • Monitor and optimize financial performance across all hospitality assets.
  • Drive operational efficiency while ensuring adherence to brand standards and guest experience benchmarks.
  • Coordinate closely with hotel operators for smooth day-to-day functioning.
  • Track and analyze key hospitality KPIs such as Occupancy, RevPAR, ADR, GOP/EBITDA, and guest satisfaction metrics.
2. Strategic Alignment & Value Creation
  • Support the Head – Asset Management in developing and executing asset strategies aligned with the group’s long-term vision.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement, cost optimization, and value improvement across assets.
  • Work collaboratively with operators and internal cross-functional teams to implement value-creation initiatives.
3. Contracts, Procurement & Vendor Management
  • Lead procurement activities for specialized equipment, materials, and operational services.
  • Review, negotiate, and manage vendor and service contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance.
  • Ensure quality standards, timely delivery, and conformity with operational and brand guidelines across all procured items and services.
4. Design & Operational Coordination
  • Collaborate with design, projects, and engineering teams on renovations, refurbishments, and new development initiatives.
  • Evaluate and ensure operational feasibility, functionality, and alignment with brand requirements for all design and project plans.
  • Support hotel operators in implementing operational improvements, SOP upgrades, and compliance measures.
5. Reporting & Stakeholder Management
  • Prepare periodic financial, operational, and performance dashboards for the Head – Asset Management and senior leadership.
  • Liaise with internal teams, hotel operators, consultants, and vendors to ensure streamlined operations.
  • Provide data-backed insights and recommendations for business decisions and strategic planning.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.

Experience

  • Total Work Experience: 10–13 years (Cumulative).
  • Prior experience managing multiple properties or large-scale hospitality assets is highly desirable.
