Deputy General Manager - GSC Finance - Global Service Centre
a. Engage with stakeholders to understand business context & expectations todevise solutioning & target operating modeb. Define transition plan & drive effective transitions with clear milestonesc. Define effective Shared service & process control measuresd. Ensure all operational deliveries are managed as expectede. Ensure that accounting & payments to suppliers in time, reconciliation ofbank and ledger accounts, reconciliation of inventory, and establishingeffective control over collection from customersf. Ensure that all AR, AP & Accounting processes, revenue accounting etc aremanaged effectivelyg. Ensure that Internal & External audit requirements are met and propervalidation of accounts & prepare monthly variance reporth. Ensure that all direct & indirect tax requirements are articulated & managedeffectivelyi. Ensure quality reviews of GSC deliverables are conductedj. Create active engagement with Users across the organization to establish aculture of identifying root causes for performance gaps, identifying suitablesolutions, and deploying the samek. Establish relevant KPIs (GSC & Process Success) to generate ownershipwithin the team Transformation Leadershipa. Identify opportunities of transformation in the process to enhanceeffectivenessb. Conduct process assessments to identify areas for improvement andrecommend process changes. Drive best practicesc. Create, implement and monitor processes and procedures finance processesd. Collaborate with department heads and process owners to establish processimprovement goals and targets and develop action plans to achieve theme. Drive digitization of processesf. Support business units to develop appropriate metrics to demonstrate Processefficiency and effectivenessg. Analyze process performance data to identify trends, patterns, and areas forimprovementh. Manage interface between business and IT development teams and supportin developing the right solutions when improving processes Stakeholder Managementa. Interact with stakeholders & drive effective governanceb. Develop and deploy relevant Performance Review cycle at different levels ofthe organizationc. Manage escalations proactivelyd. Help to drive data driven decision making by providing insights to BusinessPerformance through Dashboard Team Managementa. Lead & monitor teamb. Help to create a culture of Best Practice AdoptionQUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIESQualifications & OtherCompetencies Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent with minimum 15+ years ofexperience in F&A outsourcing / offshoring with Indian organizations / Indian SSCs Experience with period close & direct / indirect taxation is must Good Communication skills in English language, both oral and written. Experience in transition, setup & running off-shored Finance operations Possess strong analytical skills & transformation experience Work flexible over-hours in close coordination with line manager covering situationswhere business is requiring urgent execution. Ability to work in a fast paced, time sensitive environment Detail orientedProfessional and articulate communicator, Team player, Flexibility in work schedule,Aptitude for prioritization/multi-taskingExperience Level
