Deputy General Manager - Sales Liner Relations

Job Purpose: Lead - Sales and Marketing in the business development department oversees sales and marketing effort to propel business expansion and meet revenue goals.

Opportunity Identification:

  • Craft data-driven sales strategies with clear objectives and KPIs, targeting high-demand sectors.

Strategy & Planning:

  • Participate in corporate sales planning and strategy development, executing sales plans to achieve assigned sales targets.

Proposal Management:

  • Ensure timely submission of competitive proposals/quotations by coordinating with the Pricing/Procurement team to secure customer business while maintaining good margins.

Customer Relationships Management:

  • Develop strong customer relationships through regular visits, timely responses, continuous communication, reporting, and reviews.

Sales Management:

  • Oversee end-to-end logistics sales, including container sales (EXIM & Domestic) at site/ICD level, to achieve budgeted volumes and targets.

Marketing:

  • Build Adani Logistics brand and market share from new logistics facilities by gathering market intelligence and optimizing circuits and terminals.

Key Account Management:

  • Build and manage key accounts, maintaining long-term relationships with existing and new customers to generate additional revenue and ensure key client expectations are met.

Performance Analysis:

  • Administer and analyze volume and profitability dashboards, identifying areas for improvement and executing corrective actions to maintain or improve margins.

Market Intelligence and Analysis:

  • Collect market intelligence on competition and identify new business opportunities to improve profitability.

Digital Mindset:

  • Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.

Team Development:

  • Promote a respectful and safe workplace, lead collaborative and productive teams, and mentor for growth and success.
