We are seeking a talented individual to join our Quality Assurance team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Deputy Manager/Manager – Quality Assurance (Grade D1/D2)
The Quality Review Supervisor oversees daily QA activities within a specified insurance operations function (e., placement, proof of insurance, surplus lines, contract review and policy admin). They ensure quality standards are consistently applied, provide coaching to analysts, and support the implementation of QA programs.
We will count on you to:
Lead daily QA workflow for assigned teams: planning, assignment, monitoring, and escalation.
Conduct and supervise quality reviews, ensuring adherence to defined rubrics, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
Calibrate scoring with peers and support periodic calibration sessions to maintain inter-rater reliability.
Coach and mentor Quality Review Analysts; deliver performance feedback, development plans, and training.
Identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities; partner with Operations to implement corrective actions.
Prepare and present QA findings, dashboards, and KPI performance to Program Manager and Operations leadership.
Support new hire onboarding, training, and ongoing skills development for QA staff
Maintain QA documentation, SOPs, playbooks, and process change logs.
Ensure data integrity and confidentiality in QA activities.
What you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
3–5 years of QA experience in insurance operations or related domain; people leadership experience preferred.
Strong understanding of insurance processes and regulatory considerations affecting QA
Experience with QA tooling, audits, and reporting; proficient with MS Office; familiarity with QA platforms and BI tools.
Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication.

Prior experience with quality management systems, calibration processes, and process improvement.
Knowledge of Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Metrics & Success Indicators
- QA completion rate and adherence to schedules.
- Inter-rater reliability metrics (e.g., Cohen’s kappa).
- Corrective action closure rate and time-to-remediation.
- Individual and team QA performance trends.
- Stakeholder satisfaction with QA support.
