Job Title: Automation Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our development operations processes, tools, and infrastructure. You will collaborate with software developers, system administrators, and other cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery, deployment, and operations.

Required Skills :

1. Working knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines:

- Design, develop, and automate CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable software delivery.

- Implement code repositories, build systems, and deployment processes to streamline software releases.

- Configure and maintain CI/CD tools and systems such as Jenkins, Git CI/CD, or similar.

- Should have understanding of CI/CD on any 1 cloud (AWS,GCP, Azure)

2. Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

- Implement and manage infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.

- Create and maintain infrastructure templates and configurations to ensure consistent and scalable environments.

- Work closely with system administrators to provision and configure cloud-based or on-premises infrastructure.

3. Configuration Management:

- Develop and maintain configuration management solutions using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

- Automate software and system configurations to ensure consistency and reproducibility.

- Collaborate with development teams to manage application-specific configurations.

4. Should have sound knowledge of Python , PowerShell. Candidate should be able to develop utility programs / scripts.

5. Hands on containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

6. Monitoring and Logging:

- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure visibility into system performance and health.

- Configure and maintain monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.

- Set up centralized logging systems such as ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) or similar.

Other Skills:

Certification on any 1 cloud will be preferable.
