Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Key Responsibilities:
Costing and Contribution Analysis:
Lead the costing function of Farm division having multiple plants 
Lead and oversee the preparation and review of contribution workings, product costing, inventory valuation, and cost variance analysis.
Identify cost-saving opportunities through detailed cost analysis and efficiency studies to support profitability enhancement.
Leading finalisation of budget, monthly MIS, quarterly estimates and various scenarios

Investment Evaluation:
Evaluate and appraise investment proposals, ensuring financial justification through IRR/payback analysis.
Develop robust financial models to support decision-making related to make-or-buy analysis, process improvements, or asset acquisitions.

Compliance and Governance:
Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies relating to costing and capex.
Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders for cost audits, capital project reviews, and financial reporting.

Team Leadership and Development:
Mentor and guide a team of 6- 8 finance professionals, fostering their technical growth and professional development.
Promote a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

Experience

15 +yrs

Industry Preferred

Preferably in an agricultural, manufacturing, or industrial setup.
