Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

To Ensure timely delivery of vehicles in Defect Free Condition at optimum cost and ensure visibility to all stake holders

Taking Strategic initiatives to continuously 
1. Improve service levels.
2. Reduce cost and working capital.
3. Stay ahead of competition in Outbound Domain.
4. Freight Negotiation.
5. Route planning & optimization

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Budgeting & Capacity Planning for Outbound in line with Business Plan.
• Establish & Monitor SLA with 3PL service providers to ensure delivery of desired service levels and timely corrective actions.
• Digital Adoption in Outbound for- Implementing and harnessing TMS for enhancing effectiveness in Outbound operation.; Transit Visibility.
• Evaluating & Implementing strategic priorities like Cost Reduction, Network optimization, Enhancing dispatch thru Train etc. to improve service levels and reduce cost through in-depth understanding of business, industry and domain.
• Identify and utilize business opportunities to create a multiplier effect like Carrier capacity enhancement, explore use of alternate carriers like flat bed for Alfa or Chassis carriers for CE.
• Enhance Dealer Satisfaction by understanding their stated and unstated need and deliver on that.
• Inspire people through setting examples in cost leadership, by utilizing resources effectively.

Education Qualification

Post graduate diploma/ MBA in Supply chain management

General Experience

Experience of 8 -10 years

Critical Experience

Experience of handling Plant logistics for at least 8-10 years
