As a Digital Technology Senior Specialist for Baker Hughes, you will be responsible for leading quality strategy and execution across complex software systems. The role combines hands‑on testing expertise, automation excellence, team leadership, and strong cross‑functional collaboration. 

As a Digital Technology Senior Specialist - Quality Assurance Engineering, you will also be responsible for:

• Strong collaboration with engineering, product, and DevOps teams

• Influencing quality practices and standards across teams

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have strong expertise in functional testing, test strategy, and test planning

• Have 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing

• Have hands‑on experience with UI and backend test automation

• Have proficiency in Java, Selenium, and BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber)

• Have experience with performance and non‑functional testing

• Have ability to design, maintain, and optimize multiple test suites (smoke, regression, E2E)

• Have leadership experience mentoring QA engineers and driving quality ownership

• Have ability to identify quality risks early and drive preventive testing approaches

• Nice‑to‑have: CI/CD integration, test data management, and quality metrics
