Job Description

Fixed Income Research
• Fixed Income valuations and Indices – working on criteria development, daily index
computation, index rebalancing, launch of innovative and replicable indices for index
funds/ETFs, valuation models, index algorithm, portfolio construction, daily
operations, pricing and valuation of fixed income security
• Assist in designing and review of index computation approach/ valuation approach of
debt securities by – studying trends in primary and secondary markets, interaction
with market participants.
• Tracking competition and other global practices on passive investments
• Co-ordination with technology to build valuation and index algorithms in the software
tool.
• Interaction with market participants to gather market intelligence with an objective to
improve valuation and index construction process.
• New product development and maintenance.
• Write thought leadership articles and support franchise activities
• Meeting clients at regular intervals for feedback on products
➢ Presentations to clients/ prospects for Fixed income products

➢Making presentations to senior management on criteria for new products
Domain Experience/ desired skills:
•Fixed income domain knowledge
•Knowledge of fixed income mutual funds (or AIF, PMS, Insurance) products
•Knowledge on passive investments
•Knowledge of regulatory guidelines governing mutual funds
•Fixed income market understanding – yield levels, key trends, market preference and market structure
•Fluency with bond and index mathematics
•Analytical inclination
•Strong oral, written and presentation skills

Good to Have skills:
Knowledge of coding languages
