The role involves end-to-end management of Debit Card Fee Lines and Cost Optimization initiatives. The incumbent will work closely with Technology, BSG, BIU, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure accurate fee charging, leakage prevention, and cost efficiency across products and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gain in-depth understanding of DCMS systems and related platforms.
  • Liaise with Tech, BSG, and cross-functional teams to enable fee charging setup, BRD creation, and testing (pre-launch and post-launch).
  • Monitor fee performance and report income numbers regularly.
  • Identify and resolve leakages in fee charging.
  • Conduct competition benchmarking for fee structures.
  • Plan and track budgets for fee lines; analyze gaps vs. targets.
  • Perform RCA for leakages and recommend corrective actions.
  • Analyze opportunities for new income lines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Finance team to understand cost structures linked to products and identify opportunities to reduce costs through digital initiatives or process streamlining.
  • Drive initiatives to improve fee-linked customer experience, reduce complaints/calls, and enhance transparency.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with advanced financial analysis and data interpretation.
  • Ability and intent to learn technology systems (DCMS, Finance tools).

Ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory guidelines in all fee management processes, including RBI directives and internal audit standards.

Maintain robust documentation and audit trails to support regulatory reporting and governance requirements.

Understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards applicable to fee management and cost optimization.

  • Excellent project management and ability to meet timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Prior experience in fee management, product costing, or process optimization preferred.
