Job Description & Summary

Role Overview: 

We are looking for an experienced SAP Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM) Consultant with a minimum of 5+ years of hands‑on experience in SAP Project Systems (PS), Project Portfolio Management (PPM), and related SAP EPPM components. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in project planning, budgeting, resource management, project analytics, and integration with SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, and HCM.. 

 

*Responsibilities: 

SAP EPPM Implementation & Support 

• Lead full-cycle implementations of SAP EPPM / PPM / PS modules. 

• Conduct requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, unit testing, integration testing, and golive support. 

• Configure project structures (WBS, Networks, Activities), versioning, statuses, and settlements. 

• Implement SAP PPM functionalities: Portfolio buckets, portfolio items, scoring models, decision points, financial planning, and resource planning. 

Business Process Consulting 

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand project management needs and map them to SAP EPPM functionalities. 

• Design optimized project and portfolio processes aligned with industry best practices (SAP Activate or ASAP methodology). 

• Conduct workshops, trainings, and provide functional guidance to users. 

Integration & Technical Coordination 

• Work closely with technical teams (ABAP, BASIS, PI/PO, BTP) for enhancements, interfaces, and custom developments. 

• Ensure seamless integration with SAP FI/CO, MM, SD, HR/HCM, and other modules. 

• Support data migration activities involving project structures, budgets, and master data. 

Reporting & Analytics 

• Support reporting through SAP Fiori apps, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), BW/BI tools. 

• Develop dashboards for portfolio performance, project KPIs, budget/actuals, and resource utilization. 

• Ensure data accuracy across portfolio and project reporting.

• Excellent documentation and presentation skills. 

*Mandatory Skill sets: SAP EPPM/PS, S4HANA, E2E Implementation 

 

Preferred Skill sets: 

Experience in industries like Engineering & Construction, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Utilities, or Professional Services. 

Exposure to Agile/Hybrid project management methodologies. 

Experience in global SAP rollouts. 

 

Years of Experience required: 4-10 years of experience 

 

Education qualification: B.Tech./B.E./MBA/M.Tech./M.E./MCA/CA/CMA/ICWA
