Role Description

Origination is responsible for developing and implementing the Origination strategy and agenda for the groups/countries within their remit, in line with bank and/or Function's strategic objectives, ensuring adherence to bank policy and relevant legal/regulatory frameworks.

Work includes:

• Pitching ideas/solutions to the bank’s larger clients and/or in complex structured transactions
• Preparing relevant materials to pitch to new or existing clients with the aim of winning the mandate for the bank
• Ensuring smooth execution of transactions
• Leveraging relationships built with internal stakeholders e.g. Structuring

Your key responsibilities & skills and experience

Responsibilities, Qualifications & Experience:

• Originating financing trades

• To work closely with Sales/Coverage and Origination and helps deliver bespoke credit solutions

• Structuring and execution of financing trades

• Will have responsibility for meeting set P/L targets

• Will also have responsibility for obtaining all required internal approvals

• To perform analysis of financial strengths, industry/business, valuation, competition, market positioning, risks and mitigants, structural and legal aspects around the transaction

• Track latest developments in the industry / financial markets and identify any financing opportunities for DB to participate

• Conduct due diligence on the underlying companies

• Assist in de-risking / selldown to potential investors

• Managing existing portfolio of financing trades
