About the Role

The resource will manage key accounts, develop and maintain long-term relationships, ensure the brand secures the No. 1 position at the retail counter, and drive overall business performance in line with the company’s objectives.

What You Will Do

  • Prepare and execute the annual business plan in alignment with key accounts, ensuring achievement of company objectives.

  • Drive monthly sales plans, counter share, display share, and growth targets as per the approved business plan.

  • Conduct monthly business reviews with internal and external stakeholders to track performance and alignment.

  • Optimize key account investments to accelerate JBL business growth.

  • Develop account-wise and store-category-wise planograms aligned with organizational goals and competitive benchmarking.

  • Lead demand forecasting and ensure forecast accuracy through regular reviews aligned with weekly sell-out targets, with strong SKU-level focus.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners across levels, ensuring top-of-mind brand recall and operational efficiency in collaboration with the national distribution team.

  • Plan and execute quarterly and annual BTL activations, secondary sales programs, consumer offers, and in-store promotions, coordinating closely with the sell-out team.

  • Ensure timely quarterly financial reconciliations and own service deliverables for key accounts, maintaining zero service pendency.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience managing the LFR channel, with strong business acumen and in-depth understanding of the LFR business.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, and negotiate complex, win-win commercial agreements.

  • Strong analytical capabilities, leveraging data to diagnose issues and drive effective, actionable solutions.

  • Strategically strong, with the ability to translate complex information into clear strategies and execute and communicate them effectively.

  • Strong consumer products orientation, with a deep understanding of consumer needs to create market-winning retail sales strategies.

  • Demonstrated expertise in business planning, planogram development, and driving sell-out growth.

  • Proficient in annual budgeting, quarterly marketing planning, demand forecasting, and maintaining forecast accuracy.

  • Well-versed in evolving account dynamics, competitive landscape, and driving online sales within key accounts.

  • Strong collaboration and creativity, with the ability to work cross-functionally and deliver innovative solutions to sales and market challenges.

Bonus Points if You Have

  • MBA in Sales & Marketing from a Tier 1 institution.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Certification or formal training in Key Account Management will be an added advantage.

  • Prior experience working with global brands is preferred.

  • Experience in the Consumer Durables industry will be an added advantage.
