Responsibilities

Civil Design & Planning Oversight:

Lead the review and approval of civil engineering plans covering foundations, factory layouts, access roads, and utilities to ensure long-term durability and efficiency.

Review and approve construction drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.

Work with architects, structural, and MEP teams to deliver designs that integrate seamlessly across disciplines and comply with industry standards.

Precast Infrastructure Integration:

Collaborate with production teams to design civil structures like lifting bays, curing chambers, and storage yards that support precast manufacturing workflows.

Ensure civil works are aligned with equipment installation and production flow and ensure minimization of handling delays, reduction in material wastage, and optimization of production timelines.

Ensure proper foundation and anchoring for precast machinery and curing chambers.

Budget Management:

Prepare and manage budgets for civil works, ensuring accurate cost forecasting and adherence to financial limits.

Allocate manpower, machinery, and materials strategically to achieve productivity without cost overruns.

Execution Monitoring:

Oversee critical execution phases such as site preparation, excavation, and concreting, ensuring safety, compliance, and technical accuracy.

Establish quality control checkpoints and rapidly address technical issues to maintain smooth site progress.

Stakeholder Coordination:

Act as the primary liaison with contractors, consultants, and vendors, ensuring timely execution of deliverables and adherence to specifications.

Provide daily / weekly structured progress reports and dashboards for leadership, highlighting achievements, risks, and corrective actions.

Risk Management:

Identify potential risks in site execution—such as soil instability, equipment constraints, or safety hazards—and build mitigation plans.

Ensure civil activities follow strict safety protocols to protect workers, equipment, and ongoing precast operations.

Continuous Improvement:

Introduce modern construction practices, digital tools, and sustainable methods to improve efficiency in civil works for precast projects.

Promote lessons-learned reviews after each project phase to refine processes and reduce recurring issues.

Brand Positioning:

Ensure Adani's brand values are shown in all interactions.

Strengthen relationships to boost the organization's brand and trust within the market and company.

Team Development:

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s/Master’s in Civil Engineering

Work Experience:

10–15 years in industrial or infrastructure projects with at least 3 years in Precast or factory set up
