Job Purpose:

This role will be responsible for leading and managing the Ethics program for Nayara Energy, in accordance with the Nayara Energy Compliance Program, Ethics Code, applicable policies, guidelines and regulations. 

Key Responsibilities:

Establishing Framework

  • Implement the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Program across the organization.
  • Conduct training sessions related to the Anti-Corruption Program
  • Establish systems and processes for reporting actual or suspected incidents, investigations, and disciplinary actions under the Whistle-blower and Hotline mechanisms.

Reporting for Corporate Ethics and Hotline Whistle-blower

  • Report the status of Corporate Ethics Program implementation to Management Committee (MC), Audit Committee (AC), and the Board
  • Submit monthly reports to MC and quarterly reports to AC and Board on disqualified complaints and implementation status.

Communication and Awareness

  • Support awareness initiatives for employees through training and mandatory online testing (Online Competence Evaluation)
  • Facilitate communication of Corporate Ethics Policy through various channels to internal and external stakeholders
  • Promote awareness of Hotline Whistle-blower Complaint Channels and Policy, including outreach to counterparties

Hotline Whistle-blower Management

  • Receive complaints through Hotline Whistle-blower Channels and initiate resolution procedures.
  • Record complaints in the Hotline Whistle-blower Register
  • Communicate complaints to the Hotline Management Team with supporting facts, records, and evidence for screening.
  • Communicate complaints to the Hotline Management Team with supporting facts, records, and evidence for screening & Investigations.

Team Building

Mentor and nurture team members to build capability and ensure effective execution of hotline responsibilities.

Investigation

  • Initiate in house analysis / review, discussion with complainants, other relevant personnel to gather additional required information. Carry out data / information review and analysis pertaining to the unethical / malicious / fraud / corrupt / bribery incidents / complaints and other incidents related to any misconduct or breach of any policies / procedures.
  • Conducts interviews of those people involved in an event or incident and document the interview outcomes.
  • Supporting Investigation team in Screening Process.

Special Assignments

  • Carry out assignments / works assigned by Chief Security Officer/Head Hotline & Investigations time to time.

Knowledge:

Education Qualification & Certifications: 

  • Engineer or Engineer MBA 

Relevant & Total Years of Experience 

  • 15-20 years of post-qualification experience 
  • Relevant experience 10+ years

Skills:

Functional Skills: 

  • Industry background in Oil & Gas is desirable. 
  • Familiarity with numbers and Excel
