Lead -Marketing Finance

Job Purpose:

Responsible for all commercial and finance activities related to Marketing and sales of PP with in the company

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting, Statutory Compliances and Customer support
• Manage and oversee overall commercial operations of the marketing department including coordination for Filing of Various Statutory Returns, Payments receivables, all commercial documentation, management reports, accounts closing, financial/accounting compliances, audits, DCA/CS contracts, Channel partner due diligence, Channel partner appraisal, Customer’s Claim Settlement, Control and Custodian of all master documents of DCA’s and Customer
• Co-ordination with Nayara central finance and planning team etc.

2. Credit management
• Credit Control of Channel Partners as well as Direct Customers.
• Managing Channel Partners and Customer’s credit exposures
• Negotiating and discounting of LC’s/BG’s or other documents in collaboration with central banking team
• Establish channel financing systems/process with reputed banks.

3. Price and marketing cost analysis
• Support pricing of products with pricing analysis.
• Marketing cost monitoring and Analysis. Support head of marketing for control marketing cost.

4. Business Planning and others
• Annual budget preparation and co-ordination with Nayara central finance and planning team for Annual business plan of Nayara.
• Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modelling for senior company leadership.
• Marketing project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc request.
• Managing and controlling Regional office’s Marketing Finance teams

5. Commercial control and operations
• Commercial control of operations in line with company plan
• Management of Credit exposure to channel partners and customers
• Maintaining service level defined in marketing plan to all customers to make Nayara preferred supplier.
• Digitalisation of the operating systems

6. Decision making and recommendations
• Due diligence of channel partner and feedback for suitable channel partners
• Deciding DCA/Customer’s credit limits and policy for the management of the same
• Preparing customised deals for key accounts / large customers in line with marketing and pricing plan.
• Creation of marketing finance team including regional offices.
• Credit management measures, marketing cost control measures, system improvements

7. Stakeholder management
• Head Marketing, Head Sales PP, Central Finance/banking team, Regional Heads, Regional Marketing Finance teams, PP pricing team, PP operation team.
• Customers
• Domestic/International Channel Partners
• Statutory Authorities
• Banks and financial institutions

Knowledge:

1. Educational Qualifications & Certifications
• CA/ ICWA or MBA –Finance

Skills:

1. Functional Skills
• 12-15 years + of experience with strong exposure to the Indian petrochemical industry including experience in Polymer industry. Having strong insights about credit performance of key customers and channel partner is preferred.
• Strong relationship skills and a solid network in the banking and polymer industry
