Lead - SAP Metering & AMI

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Project Planning and Execution

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans for smart meter and AMI installations and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Track project progress against milestones and proactively identify risks, issues, and bottlenecks.
• Implement corrective actions to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

2. Team Leadership

• Lead, manage, and guide project managers, engineers, and field technicians.
• Allocate resources effectively to meet project requirements and operational priorities.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, work procedures, and organizational policies.
• Promote accountability, collaboration, and performance-driven execution within the team.

3. Quality Assurance

• Establish and oversee quality assurance frameworks for smart metering and AMI deployments.
• Conduct periodic quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify quality gaps and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure continuous improvement in installation and operational processes.

4. Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with internal stakeholders, including the Project Head and relevant department leaders.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders such as vendors, system integrators, and clients.
• Serve as a point of escalation for client concerns and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain clear, structured, and consistent communication across all stakeholder groups.

B.Tech / M.Tech / B.E- Electrical Engineering.
