Job Summary : 

Need to have resource with good experience and understanding of Mainframe Technology stack, COBOL, VSAM, CICS along with experience in API Development in Mainframe zOS.

Technical Skills : 

Strong knowledge in COBOL,JCL, CICS, VSAM, IMS DBA and other mainframe technologies.

Good ablity to Solve Abends

Experience with mainframe software development tools and platforms.

Handover the Understanding document for other technology team to recreate the functionalities.

Providing testing support to validate the Services created in new Technology.

Good to have Banking domain experience.

Ability to work both independently and under direction.

Production support of all database issues and integration jobs.

Support Experience required

Good communication and documentation skills

Based on applications' requirements perform all changes to IMS databases in Test and Production environments.

Deep knowledge in AWS, Azure or Google Cloud technology

Focuses on creating and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure, including production, test, and development environments

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with modern software development tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud technologies and their integration with Mainframe systems.
• Knowledge of additional database management systems beyond IMS, such as DB2 or Oracle.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in database management or software development are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and teams effectively.
