Manager Contracts

  1. Support Head commercial and Category lead in formulating the right contracting strategies for development of Surface facility for Company offshore Blocks and fields with right contract terms and conditions ensuring minimum risk for Company and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, Company policies and procedures 
  2. Support the Management with market information on availability of long lead items and Services with shortest delivery time and know-how of worldwide Service Providers.
  3. Shall have good technical and market intelligence to ensure the procurements of Supply and services related to surface facilities such as Engineering services, PMC, LLI (Valves, Pipes, MPFM, Separators, Steel etc).
  4. Conduct the Tendering process of Supplies and Services and timely award of Contract to provide the right quality material/services at right time, at right price, at right place complying to all policy and process. 
  5. Exercise good judgment in selecting best contracting methods, techniques, and commercial evaluation criteria for obtaining desired outcome.
  6. Own the procurement process and support various procurement functions such as strategic sourcing, subcontracting, vendor registration, vendor file management, and drafting of tenders including Terms and conditions, Compensation Schedule etc. conducting tender through Ariba and awards in SAP.
  7. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external clients, stakeholders and management
  8. Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
  9. Perform risk management for supply and service contracts and agreements
  10. Responsible for the contract management, variation orders, potential claims, payments etc. Central repository of soft and hard copy of tender related documents.
  11. Communication with the Bidders /DGH/partner / internal Stakeholders in terms of contractual matters
  12. This is individual contributor role, and candidate shall have hands on working experience of tendering and documentation.
  • BE or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management or related field or equivalent experience. 
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional contract/procurement experience in oil and Gas industry including, but not limited to, tendering, sourcing, contract negotiation, Contract Management, monitoring and reporting contract performance
  • Good knowledge of procuring Surface related Tangibles and Services.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex information to others both verbally and in writing 
  • Ability to accurately read, interpret, develop and negotiate terms and conditions of contracts
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills with business acumen to make sound management decisions/recommendations 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • In-depth working knowledge of contract drafting, management and change control proces
  • Knowledge of digital procurement software such as SAP and Ariba or any other tendering system etc
