Manager - Finance - Container Freight Station - Nhava Sheva

 

1. Preparation of weekly aging of debtors along with actions and updates.

2. Prepare pricing proposals in line with the pricing policy to seek approval for commercials.

3. Prepare and send daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required in the AR SOP and credit policy.

4. Ensure DSOs are within budgeted limits.

5. Ensure timely issuance of credit notes with proper approvals as per SOP.

6. Ensure no credit is granted without approvals as per the authority matrix.

7. Ensure approved credit limits are not exceeded.

8. Responsible for creation of customer master by coordinating with the sales and master creation teams.

9. Periodically review customer master data to ensure accuracy and robustness.

10. Ensure correct booking of revenue on a monthly basis

11. Monitor daily revenue bookings and coordinate with sales for necessary documentation or clarifications

12. Prepare monthly provision for revenue earned but not yet accounted in ERP.

13. Reconcile monthly revenue as per books with sales reports from internal systems and annexures from the sales team.

14. Obtain balance confirmations from customers quarterly through sales personnel, and submit reconciliations within 10 days of quarter-end.

15. Ensure there is a monitoring and review process to track credit policy adherence, payment history, and daily exposure.

16. Ensure credit agreements are signed wherever credit is extended to customers.

17. Follow the SOP on accounts receivable and credit policy at all times.

18. Provide daily updates on invoices raised but payments not received.

19. Attend to customer queries and issue credit notes as required, with proper approvals.

20. Visit customers in person to resolve issues when necessary.
